Dr. Peter Oseghale Ohue holds a Bachelor’s in Mathematics, multiple Master’s degrees in Statistics, Psychology, and Educational Technology, and a Ph.D. in Computational Statistics. As Director of Studies at Expert Education Centre and Lead Instructor at Neuromatch Academy, he integrates artificial intelligence, climate science, and mental health research. His global collaborations through Omdena, Fellowship AI, ASFI, Cohere, and Masakhane focus on applying data-driven science to real-world challenges across Africa.
Professor of Computational Physics, Edo State University, Nigeria
Professor Olayinka is a distinguished academic and researcher with a Ph.D. in Physics specializing in Computational and Applied Physics. With over 20 years of teaching, research, and leadership experience, he has served as Dean and Director at Edo State University. His work spans computational materials science, nanotechnology, and AI applications, with over 90 publications. An IMBIZO alumnus, ICTP Visiting Scientist, and founder of C2SNet.org, he is a leading advocate for computational research and mentorship in Africa.
Associate Professor of Anatomy, University of Port Harcourt
Dr. Chinagorom is an Associate Professor with over 15 years of teaching and research experience in anatomy and neuroscience. Trained at IMBIZO, UCL, and TReND CaMinA, she applies machine learning to study neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s. As a faculty member at bioRTC Computational Neuroscience School, she mentors young African scientists. Her mission is to strengthen neuroscience education and drive data-driven brain research across the continent.
